Established in 1847 the Village of Cambridge has a rich history, from being settled by Scottish and Norwegian immigrants and childhood home of Arthur Davidson (of Harley-Davidson) to one of the top 100 “Best Small Town Getaways in the Midwest” in the 1990s. Cambridge is in a perpetual revitalization process with new businesses opening and new neighborhoods developing (2018 Parade of Homes site). A Victorian-era downtown with shops, boutiques and coffee shops offers a great backdrop for annual events and anchors the area countryside filled with art studios, seasonal markets, lakes, museums, winery, distillery, parks and trail systems. Additionally, the northside ( Hwy 18 area) Business District features a variety of independent service businesses, dining and stores with area civic organizations all ready to lend a hand. Check out the Visit Cambridge website for more fun activities, attractions, restaurants and events!
